Our Story

Nissan 350z, 350z, Z, hardparked, drift

Hey, I’m Evan — the person behind TunerScene.

My love for cars started young. I was hooked the moment I saw that highway scene in Cars with the neon-lit tuners, and later Tokyo Drift sealed the deal. I saw DK's Nissan 350Z and it became an instant dream car. I promised myself I’d own one someday, as I had an interest in JDM cars.

Since then, every car I’ve had, from an old Cadillac to a slow Nissan Altima, has become a personal project. I wasn’t just into the builds though, I loved the community. The late-night meets, the conversations, the shared passion — that’s what made it all worth it.

Back in 2016, I started a Twitter account called TunerScene (now X), just to share car content and connect with other car enthusiasts. That little idea turned into something way bigger. As of 2025, I’ve grown the account to over 105,000 followers and, even better, finally got the 350Z I always dreamed of. As you can see from the photos of my Z throughout this blog, it’s more than just a car to me. It’s the result of years of passion, patience, and persistence.

TunerScene is more than a username — it’s my story, my passion, and a growing piece of the car world I love so much. I’m here to keep on building, connecting, and sharing the ride with all of you.

I truly appreciate you for stopping by and reading this. Enjoy the blog, check me out on X @TunerScene, and let’s keep the scene alive.
